Partnership based
Our results to date have shown that we can achieve a lot more by working in partnership than we can as individual organisations. Together we will build on the great start we have made towards overcoming the problems of rural isolation.
Targeted
A detailed and targeted Action Plan, based on knowledge gained through the last three years' work has been produced to focus our combined efforts in 2006/2007. This will be reviewed in the light of experience, to ensure that our resources and solutions are directed where they are most needed.
Innovative
We will continue to develop new and creative solutions to the problems of rural isolation. To do this we will fully engage the talents and resources available locally and draw lessons from best practice in Cornwall and beyond.
Joined up
We plan to carry on drawing together and co-ordinating partners' efforts, co-operating closely with communities to assess their needs and encourage their involvement and blending improvements in conventional public transport with more innovative ideas. This proven, effective, joined-up approach will guarantee genuine and continuing improvements and a fair deal for every member of this area's rural population.
